Porto update

Seeing as though there is lots of discussion on fan forums like Red Issue on the April 15 match in Porto, here is an update.

Low Cost Sport has announced the cheapest package deal so far, shaving £34 of the second cheapest, Champion Sports Tours.

For £215, Low Cost Sport is offering a day-trip, which starts with a flight from Manchester to Porto at 08:00, which arrives at 11:30.

On the way home, the flight leaves Porto at 00:30 and arrives into Manchester at 02:00.

That price includes insurance and coach transfers. However, unlike Travelcare Sports, Champion Sports Tours and Miss Ellie's Travel options, it does not give you access to a match ticket.

Meanwhile, Travelcare Sports has announced a £450 per person overnight trip to add to its £279 per person day trip.

People on the overnight trip leave Manchester on the morning of April 14 and arrive in Porto by lunchtime.

They will then be transferred to the four-star Mercure Porto Centro hotel (pictured above) in the city centre right before the landmark Sao Joao Theatre theatre.

After the match, guests will go by coach direct to the airport and arrive home in the early hours of April 16.
So to recap, if the above isn't good and you need more flight info, go here.
If you need a hotel, go here.
If you want (albeit limited) ticket info, go here
And if you want to see a pretty brilliant guide to FC Porto and the city itself, go here.
