Next week, we expect United's ticket office to release details of the ticket allocation for the trip to Villa Park on Wednesday, February 10.
Last season, United got 2,800 tickets - the same number as Liverpool fans got when they played at that ground last year.
But when they played there last night, the scousers only got 2,347 tickets. The explanation was to be found on the official Liverpool website.
A statement said: “Due to persistent standing by Liverpool supporters at away stadia last season, our ticket allocation has been reduced by the certifying authority who issue Aston Villa’s safety certificate.”
Whether the same thing happens with United remains to be seen.
Price wise, they are expected to cost £43 for adults, £30 for over 65s and £26 for under 16s.
Last season, United fans paid £35 for adults and £21 for over 65s and under 16s.
